Romania is a semi-presidential parliamentary democracy based on a bicameral Parliament, is member of the European Union. Romania is situated in the southeastern part of Central Europe and shares borders with Hungary to the northwest, Yugoslavia to the southwest, Bulgaria to the south, the Black Sea and Ukraine
Visit the Village Museum, which is an outdoor setting of a typical Romanian village. Art galleries and museums abound, as do many different types of architectural styles in the buildings. When you leave this city, you should try to see the magnificent palaces in Mogosoaia, Buftea and Heresti. If you are interested in ancient history, then you will want to visit the archeological sites of ancient Greek ruins at Histria, Tomis and Callatis. Of course, you do have to visit Bran Castle, the setting for the Dracula novel.
